We train clients aged 8–87 including those managing arthritis, osteoporosis, injuries, and anyone in between. Position Overview We’re looking for an energetic, community‑focused instructor who can Lead dynamic small‑group classes (HIIT, Tabata, bootcamp, circuit) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m.–7:15 p.m / Wednesday and Fridays from 6:15 a.m - 7:00 a.m Create safe, functional programs for all ages and fitness levels, offering modifications and progressions that keep participants engaged. Maintain professional standards: prepare for sessions and classes (10 min early), client check‑ins via Mindbody, and post‑session clean‑up. The style of training and instruction our clients expect is for our trainers to Demonstrate and cue exercises—including modifications. Communicate, motivate, and lead clients. Maintain professionalism and represent First Fitness values at all times. Be energetic, professional, and community‑focused.
- Hourly pay starts at $30.00 per hour, with additional compensation based on experience and incentives to bring in new clients.
Required Qualifications Certified Group Fitness Instructor (ACE, NASM, ACSM, ISSA, or equivalent). Certified Personal Trainer (ACE, NASM, ACSM, ISSA, or equivalent) or a degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology. Current CPR/First Aid certification. Must carry personal liability insurance. Experience leading small‑group fitness classes for all fitness levels. Experience training clients of all ages. Knowledge of functional strength training, mobility, and injury‑safe programming.
