- RISE FITNESS is hiring a Small Group Personal Trainer to join our coaching team.
This role focuses on hands-on, relationship-driven coaching in a small group personal training environment (up to 6 clients), primarily working with adults 50+. Our training model emphasizes strength, mobility, and long-term consistency in a structured, professional setting.
- This is not a large group class or bootcamp-style role—this is individualized coaching within a small group environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead small group personal training sessions (up to 6 clients)
Deliver safe, effective, and engaging coaching Build strong relationships with clients to support long-term success Support onboarding and client retention Contribute to programming and overall client experience Assist with internal promotions and member engagement initiatives Schedule & Opportunity
- Part-time position with established coaching hours available immediately
Ideally looking for someone available for approximately 20–30 hours per week (Mix of shift and commission based hours), though flexibility may be available depending on experience, availability, and fit
Current coaching opportunities may include
- Late mornings
Midday coaching sessions Afternoon/evening coaching blocks Established private and duet clients
- Opportunity to grow additional hours through private training, specialty programs, and coaching opportunities
Commission-based earning opportunities available through private, duet, nutrition, online, and specialty coaching services Qualifications & Skills Personal training certification (NASM, ACE, or equivalent) — or currently in progress/willing to obtain 1+ year of coaching, personal training, or client-facing fitness experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to coach both one-on-one and small group training sessions Comfortable working with adults 50+ and beginner/intermediate clients Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Positive, approachable, and relationship-driven Passion for helping clients improve strength, mobility, and long-term health Ability to follow structured programming while adapting exercises to individual needs Self-driven, coachable, and interested in growing within a business over time CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
